VCS Nominations

  •         Do you have strong opinions about the area you live in? 
  •         Are you ready to have those opinions heard?
  •         Would you like to be involved in the decision-making structures and represent the wider community of Stockton-on-Tees? 
  •         Do you need to know how to achieve that?

Stockton Borough has 4 Area Partnership Boards and a main LSP Board (Local Strategic Partnership) called Stockton Renaissance that the community and voluntary sector can have a voice on.  The Role of these Boards are to:

  • Improve the physical, economic & social conditions of local people
  • Address social inclusion to enhance opportunities and quality of life
  • Promote sustainable regeneration
  • Improve & protect the environment and infrastructure
  • Improve community safety
  • Enhance employment prospects, education & skills levels, and promote equality of opportunity

There are nominations now taking place for the VCS to have a place on each of these boards, giving a voice to the sector and your area.
